Simon Skinner - Managing Director

Simon has had a passion for music and entertainment for as long as he can remember. If fact, one of his first school reports noted he was 'music mad'. Upon leaving school he jumped at the chance of joining a touring band and headed off around the world with his bass guitar.
He has worked with musicians as diverse as eighties icons Midge Ure, Tom Robinson and Oscar winning film composer Hans Zimmer, touring and recording as well as many TV and radio shows. In 1996 he hung up his bass and settled in London and unsurprisingly moved to entertainment management, as music booker at London's prestigious Café Royale. As well as booking the venue's live entertainment for parties, film premieres and functions he also developed the company's contacts in the Middle East for the then owners Forte Hotels, sending numerous bands, acts and celebrities to a growing number of hotels and events.
In 1998 Simon moved to London agency Live Business Grosvenor Productions. For the next 7 years as Head of Music he was responsible for agency bookings and show music production for Thomson Gold, Thomson Cruises, P&O Ferries and Island Cruises as well as many conferences and events. Simon co-founded Boogie Management with Carina in January 2006.
Carina Skinner - Creative Director

During the last 9 years Carina has been Associate Producer on some of the country's leading pantomimes, initially with Jim Davidson's Effective Productions and then with Qdos Entertainment. She now enjoys writing, directing and producing her own family and production shows for Boogie Managements' various clients, as well as over-seeing the company's operations.

Jamie Newman has been immersed in the world of light entertainment since he started as a Redcoat in the late '90's. He has worked on cruise ships, hotels, theatres and in living rooms, and now draws on this experience in his role as light entertainment associate and trainer with Boogie Management.
Jamie has spent the last two years at sea as an Entertainment Manager for Boogie Management, looking after the day to day running of the ever expanding programme of acts, events and activities, as well as presenting and hosting all of the live entertainment onboard. He does, however, still find time to perform himself, in a varying number of guises as a children's magician, a balloonologist and as a Blues Brother!
